Kip is a principal of Quaero Group focusing his practice on critical legal searches for local and national law firms and corporations. He is an expert in all levels of law firm attorney searches, as well as mergers and acquisitions of practice groups and firms. Kip also specializes in all levels of critical corporate legal department searches in private and public corporations. He has 13 years of combined legal experience working as an attorney, advisor and legal search professional.
Kip has learned that clients like to have a quarterback or “go-to” person they can talk to about their strategic legal talent needs. He likes being in that quarterback role for the clients he serves.

Multiple years while in private law practice, Kip was named a Minnesota Super Lawyers Rising Star. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and a former Minnesota State Senate candidate.
Kip is married with three children, heavily involved in coaching youth athletics, and an avid tri-athlete, marathoner, and fitness and weight training enthusiast.
Patrick is the president of Quaero Group. He exclusively recruits attorneys nationwide in select geographic markets. He began his career with a retained executive search firm directly out of college and began exclusively recruiting attorneys in 2008. After his time with a boutique attorney search firm that had been recruiting attorneys since 1975 decided to close its doors, he left with his colleague, Wayne Sticha, and founded Quaero Group in 2011 and assumed the role as the company’s president. In the attorney search arena, he is an industry leader in placing in-house counsel for startup and mid-cap to Fortune 100 companies and government agencies. He’s also a specialist in law firm partner placements, mergers of practice groups and entire firms.
He is known as a strong problem solver, frequently being called upon to conduct intense searches for the most difficult-to-find candidates. His clients look to him for his fortitude and perseverance to get searches completed with exceptional candidates, timely and efficiently. Patrick earns each of his candidate’s trust by making sure the new position is the right step to reach the candidate’s career goals.

Lacee has ten years of combined experience working as an attorney at a top Twin Cities firm and recruiting for legal professionals. She uses her deep understanding of the law and large network of experienced attorneys to help find the best legal talent for your firm or corporation.

She has experience working with director-level executives, CEOs, general counsels and high-level HR professionals to assess and articulate hiring needs.
